Next up in the Classic Stockcars lineup is 77R Darrin Thomason! 🏁💥

Another one of our proud travelling drivers, Darrin makes the trip to our track to enjoy everything the Classic Stockcars have to offer — from the racing action on track to the great atmosphere that comes with it! 🏁🤝

For the upcoming season, Darrin’s goal is simple: keep it smooth, and finish every race. With plenty of dedication from his crew behind the scenes, we’re sure they’ll be doing everything they can to make that goal a reality! 💪💥

It’s all about getting out there, enjoying the racing, and making every lap count.

So be sure to keep an eye out for 77R Darrin Thomason when the Classic Stockcars hit the track, and give him plenty of support from the sidelines! 📣🏁

🔥🏁 Next up in our Streetstock lineup is 67E Brad Mattson! 🏁🔥

Brad is another new driver hitting the track this season, but he’s certainly no stranger to Eastern States Speedway! 🏁

Having spent time volunteering around the track, from helping out on the tow trucks and infield, Brad is now making the exciting move from helping the action happen to being part of the action himself! 🔥

With this being his first season behind the wheel, Brad’s goal is pretty simple — give it a go, have some fun and see what happens! 😁🏁

There’ll no doubt be plenty to learn as Brad gets to grips with the car and the challenges of Streetstock racing, but with his experience around the track and plenty of support behind him, we’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the season.

From volunteering trackside to lining up on the grid — welcome to the driver’s seat, Brad! 🏁🔥

🔥🏁 Next up in our Youth Ministock lineup is 496E Madison Lammas! 🏁🔥

Whilst Madison is no stranger to a Speedway track, this season sees her make the exciting move from the sidelines to behind the wheel! 🏁🔥

With some great mentors behind her, Madison has plenty of support as she takes on this new challenge. Her goals for the season are simple — have fun, keep the car in one piece and work on improving those lap times! 😁🏁

There’s bound to be plenty of learning, a few nerves, lots of smiles and hopefully some great racing along the way. As Madison gains more seat time and experience, it will be fantastic to watch her confidence grow and see just how far she can progress throughout the season.

We’re looking forward to following Madison’s journey and cheering her on every step of the way! 🏁🔥

Next up in the Streetstock lineup is 15E Jared Blanchet! 🏁💥

After one seriously busy season competing in three titles, Jared is back and ready to take on another season of racing! 💪🏁

With plenty of experience gained last season, Jared is looking forward to continuing to learn, develop, and hopefully take another step forward this season. There’s always something new to learn in Speedway, and Jared is keen to keep building on what he’s already achieved.

Another one of our well-travelled drivers here at Eastern States Speedway, Jared proudly represents our club wherever he goes. We love seeing our drivers getting out there, putting in the hard yards, and flying the club colours at tracks near and far! 👏💥

💥🚗 DEMOLITION DERBY IS COMING TO EASTERN STATES SPEEDWAY! 🚗💥

We’ve got some exciting news… 👀

This season, our President has agreed to let us run a DEMOLITION DERBY! 💥🔥

BUT… there’s a catch! 😏

👉 WE NEED A MINIMUM OF 20 CARS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! 👈

So, if you’ve ever fancied getting behind the wheel, bending some metal and having a whole lot of fun — THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! 💥💥

📅 Saturday 25th April

We need 20+ brave souls willing to put a car together and send it out onto the track! 🏁💥

🏁 WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🏁

We’re looking for some awesome people to join our volunteer team as Pit Gate Attendants & Lap Scorers! 🙌

🏎️ PIT GATE ATTENDANTS
Help keep our pits running smoothly on race nights, checking cars and people in through the pit gate.

🏁 LAP SCORERS
Be right in the middle of the action, keeping track of laps and helping ensure we get accurate race results!

⏱️ Only around 3 hours per race night!

No previous experience? No problem! Training and support will be provided. 👍

Whether you can help every race night or just when you’re available, we’d love to have you on the team!

❤️ Every helping hand makes a huge difference to our club and helps keep racing on the track.

Greg is another one of our proud Classic Stockcar drivers and certainly no stranger to travelling! He’s clocked up plenty of miles chasing the racing and bringing these old-school machines to tracks far and wide. 🚗💨

For Greg, it’s all about what Classic Stockcars are meant to be about — having fun, enjoying the racing, meeting new people, and making plenty of friends along the way. 🤝🏁

Whether he’s behind the wheel or catching up with fellow racers in the pits, Greg is all about enjoying the experience and making the most of every race meeting.

So be sure to keep an eye out for 6A Greg Ham when the Classic Stockcars hit the track, and get behind him from the sidelines! 📣💥

Next up in the Stockcar lineup is 21E Chris “Head” McKendrick! 🏁💥

Chris is known around the track as the go-to guy whenever you need a hand. He’s always the first to offer his knowledge, lend a helping hand, and supporting those around him. An all-round good guy and a huge supporter of the club, Chris was also humbled to take home Overall Sportsperson of the Year at prizegiving last season! 👏

This season sees Chris take on the role of Captain of the Eastern States Titans Development Team. With his great leadership skills, level head, and passion for the club, he’ll be a fantastic ambassador for the team.

His goals are clear — to get the team up and running, build a strong foundation, and help keep it going for the future. 💪🏁

Next up is 32N Classic Stockcars — Rob Anglesey! 🏁💥

These boys sure know how to bring back the old-school Classic Stockcars, and Rob is right at the heart of it. As President of the Top of South Stockcars, he’s certainly passionate about keeping the classics alive and showing everyone what these old cars can still do!

Another one of our proud travelling drivers, Rob is all about getting out there, putting on a show, and having plenty of fun along the way. This coming season is all about enjoying the racing, turning some laps, and making the most of every opportunity! 💥

If you’re ever at the track early, be sure to head down into the pits and check out these classic machines up close. It’s pretty cool to see how Stockcars used to be built compared to what we see on the track today!

🔥🏁 Next up in our Stockcar lineup, we’re excited to welcome back 46E Jacob Lutherus! 🏁🔥

A familiar face who’s no stranger to putting in the miles, Jacob is back at Eastern States Speedway and ready for another season of Stockcar action.

Bringing home 3rd Place at the Greymouth King of the Coast was a big highlight of Jacob’s season. After upgrading his car halfway through the season, the main goal was to get plenty of seat time, build confidence and gain more experience racing amongst the bigger fields. 🏁💪

This season, Jacob is another one of our successful drivers selected to compete in the Eastern States Titans development team, giving him the opportunity to chase one of his big dreams — getting out there and experiencing the thrill of team racing! 🔥

With another season of experience behind him, we’re excited to see what Jacob can bring to the track this season. We’ll be cheering him on both individually and as he takes on the challenge of representing the Titans!
