Introducing Rachel Gibbons as our new instructor for virtual classes on Thursday AM!

Rach will be there to support you at the 5.30am BODY PUMP and 6.10am BODY BALANCE on Thursdays. Training with you and keeping it FUN!!!!

Rach is an amazing hairdresser! But she also has a passion for the health & fitness industry and helping people. She is an aqua aerobics instructor and is doing a Yoga Course next month!

Introducing our Body Combat Instructor, Leanne! Leanne Hayes

Wahoo, we are excited to have the very talented Leanne, as in Vanilla Hayes (who did all our incredible branding!!!) running our virtual Combat classes. Leanne is a certified Combat Instructor and used to take live classes back when I was doing Attack!

Body Combat has been added to the timetable this week!! On Wednesdays at 12.10pm (30min) and Fridays at 5.10pm (45min)

MEET THE TEAM:

Introducing our Running Coach, Daina!!!!

We are very lucky to have Daina Ryder on board to Coach our Running PT class on Tuesdays at 6.10am.

This class is perfect for beginner to experienced runners looking to increase their strength, speed and mobility.

Daina is CrossFit Level 1 certified and have a Diploma in sport. She has done group fitness coaching on and off for 12+ years, ranging from boot camps, spin classes and most recently CrossFit.

"I love connecting with fitness communities and supporting people in their goals. I’ve just got into running in the past 6 months and I’m a Runclub45 Hypegal. Jessie and I share the same vision.
I’m passionate about women’s health and seeing our menstrual cycles as our superpower. Being and Endometriosis sufferer, has helped me to really be in tune with my body, my goals, and teaching me to be in my lane. The learning has been empowering for me, and I hope to support others to feel empowered in their fitness journey."

Introducing our 'Coach in Training', Coach Bec 🤩 Rebecca Hitchcock

Bec is in charge on Saturdays! With LM Virtual Attack, Pump and Balance on, Bec will guide and support you through!

Bec is also coaching a Strength PT class on Wednesdays at 6.10pm with me (Kim) there to assist.

Bec has been a long time PT client of mine and loves Strength Training, especially Barbell Lifting 💪. Coming from a dance and CrossFit background!

Bec has recently lost over 55Kg 😯🤩 and is embracing her new active lifestyle, starting her Personal Training Qualification this year and gaining experience here at BoutiqueFit PT Studio.

We are so excited to have her on board!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Introducing Myself first, Hi 👋 I am Coach Kim ❤


I am the Owner and Head Coach of BoutiqueFit PT Studio (and )

I have been a qualified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness instructor and Gymnastics Coach for over 15-17years. I have worked in various gyms in Dunedin (where I completed my studies at Otago Institute of Sport) and Blenheim. I specialize in functional movement and modifications for all levels! I have a CrossFit background (opening and co-owning CrossFit Blenheim in 2013 -2018), however have found my passion in the small group and private PT setting! I love working and connecting with individuals keen to build strength, health and longevity in a safe and holistic space.

Many of my clients are females over 30, who are new to strength training or getting back into it after injury. My studio is a safe and private space for judgement free training.

I also work with young athletes wanting to excel at their sport, specifically in Gymnastics, Tennis and Running.

I would love to help you achieve your strength & fitness goals!!! Get in touch to book a consultation or intro PT session.

Functional movements - what are they and why do we love them so much?

By definition - a functional movement is a movement sequence based on real-world situations. They are any movements you perform in multiple planes of motion with multiple joints to help you accomplish things more efficiently. Things we do in our every day lives -

Squats
Lunges
Rotates
Lifting
Pulling
Pushing
Jumping

By strengthening these everyday muscles, you help build coordination, prevent injury, build muscle, burn fat, see an increase in strength and helps with your range of motion and posture.
