Jono here, we went for a hoon at eastern states off the back of the stockcars this afternoon for needed seat time.
1st race I worked my way through most of the pack. But I'm still driving it wrong by using heaps of brake at end of straight, then driving around.
2nd race I was to practice driving into corner with no brakes the staying on gas though the corner. As these cars grip up and go better that way.
I had a gear lever issues though in that race as leaver wasn't connected to the gearbox lol so I had to poke it in to find the gears.
3rd race leaver was fixed and I practiced the totally new driving style but twice I over cooked it by being too low in the had polished slick saloon line and spun twice. I new I got to low when I spun. The car is really good it handles mint and is fast. Fozz is great on the suspension setup. I did a few laps correctly, I'll get faster.

So tonight was the run in phase on the midwest Toyota v8.
Fozz the owner of the 54n weppon was stoked.
The last few weeks the team has been hammer down nightly just ticking off the final to do list.
Easternstates this Saturday will be the cars first run after being peiced together over the last year or so.
Jono webbs got driving duties this season.
Now with the two car team complete.
Chris Baxter's 88n pulled up good from Nelson's opening meeting with a good run up in the pack.
