We’d like to say a huge thank you to Maui Muay Thai Nelson 🇹🇭 for having our team over last night and helping us prepare for our upcoming fight night in Christchurch on August 1st.

The rounds, knowledge, and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Opportunities like this are invaluable for our fighters as we continue our preparation for a big night ahead.

Proud of our MMA team last weekend. Win or lose, every single one of you stepped in there with heart, fought hard, respected your opponents, and represented our team the right way. That’s what martial arts is all about.

Watching these young fighters chase their dreams means everything to me. Being part of their journey, seeing the growth, the discipline, and the courage they show every day is something special.

I’m grateful to be part of this team and this community. One thing I know for sure… I will never retire from this. 🥊🔥

Competition Training This Saturday

Hi team,

Our MMA team did an amazing job last Saturday night. I’m very proud of everyone who stepped in and represented our academy.

Now we are getting ready for the upcoming grappling competition in two weeks. To help everyone prepare, we will be running a competition training session this Saturday:

Juniors – 4:00 pm
Adults – 5:00 pm

This session will be Gi only and focused on competition preparation.

If you are planning to compete, I highly recommend attending. Let’s keep the momentum going and get ready for the next challenge.

Today we officially opened the doors to our new MLT Academy… and wow — what an incredible first day!

From the first class to the last roll, the energy in the room was unreal. White mats shining, fresh space, big smiles, hard training, and that strong MLT family vibe we’re so proud of 💙

Hi Team,

Today is the day!!! We are officially opening our new academy and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌

Thank you all for your support during the move — we can’t wait to see everyone training in the new space.

Just a few quick reminders to help us keep the gym clean, safe and running smoothly:

• All students must wear footwear when arriving and leaving the training area
• Please keep nails short
• Clean uniform for every class

We’ve also received more uniforms — if you need an extra one, please see us at reception.

Quick Update – This Week at the Gym

Hi team,

Our new academy is really starting to take shape and it’s looking great — I can’t wait for our first session there!

Just a quick update for this week: all regular classes will run as normal, but we won’t have seats available at the gym as we’ve moved most of them to our new location.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding and continued support during this exciting transition.

Our first session at the new location will be on Monday, February 23.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the mats!
