Ever wondered what our logo actually means?
Most of you have seen it a thousand times. Here’s what’s in it.
The cards.
Nobody picks their hand. You get dealt your genetics, your injury history, your age, the job that keeps you at a desk all day, the back that’s been niggling since who knows when. You didn’t choose any of it and you can’t swap it out.
That’s your hand. And it’s different to the person next to you.
The name.
Cards don’t win games. Play does. Two people can hold the exact same hand and one of them walks away with it winning in life, because they knew what to do with what they had.
That’s the difference between having a body and having a game plan.
The three cards with figures on them.
Look closely and you’ll see one running, one on the rig, one under a barbell. Conditioning, gymnastics (moving yourself), weightlifting.
That’s how we play the hand. Not one of them on its own. All three, in the right order, at the right time, for you. That’s why your game plan isn’t the same as the person beside you, and why we’ll pull you off something or push you toward something depending on what’s going on with you that week.
The fourth card.
It’s a cross. Turn the card upright and it’s the medical cross. Health.
That one isn’t a training card. That’s what we’re playing for. The other three are just how we get there.
The Game Plan is the method. Health is the point. Being able to do your job without pain, pick up your kids, get through your seventies still doing what you want to do.
So, the whole thing:
You don’t pick your hand. You pick how you play it, and we help you play it effectively.
That’s what’s on the wall, on our shirts, and on the sign above the door.
