A cracking day in Tasman ☀️
From the briefing at to launches at Inwood Lookout in the Gordon Range, pilots were taking full advantage of the conditions and getting high early ahead of race day.

🪂 Task 1 of the Paragliding Nationals at Takaka Hill

Conditions were tricky, stuck between a slow start and the incoming sea breeze, so the good window didn’t last long.
Still, Takaka delivered some epic views and plenty of fun.

Today’s task is at Mt Murchison.

Practice Day is done ✔️
Today’s task took place at Barnicoat, Nelson, and we got some great shots from 📸
Looking ahead to tomorrow — there’s an 80% chance Task 1 will be at Takaka Hill ⛰️
Takaka is famous for its epic flying conditions, with the possibility of an unforgettable cross-country flight from the mountains all the way to the beach 🌊
