The Eastern Women's Interclub Finals at the Gore T&C Squash Club are set for next week after contrasting 1️⃣v4️⃣ and 2️⃣v3️⃣ Semi Finals on Wednesday night.

In Div 1, 2️⃣ seeds Balfour will face off against 4️⃣ seeds Clinton after Clinton beat the top seeds in a points' countback 🥵🥵🥵

In Div 2, top seeds 1️⃣ Waikaka will play 2️⃣ seeds Riversdale for the title.

Great to see 4 different clubs being represented on the night 👍👏

The Balfour Squash Club held their Club Champs Finals on Friday night. Congratulations to all players who took part this year and all the best to the Women, Div 1 and Div 3 Men for their semi finals this week.

We know there has been some confusion around possible changes to the scoring rules, so to confirm all scoring rules and recommendations for Squash in NZ will remain the same for 2026. Both PAR11 and PAR15 stay as valid options. Full details can be found on the Policies page of our website

This keeps us in line with guidelines confirmed to us by World Squash and makes sure matches are enjoyable and competitive for all levels. Internationally, the common practice is 11 points for top-level play and 15 points for lower leagues - and we’re following that approach here in NZ.
