YELLOWSTONE (Rip)
15.2hh, 4yo (not 5 until next August), Welsh/TB X gelding.
Rip is an easygoing chap with a can-do attitude and oodles of personality. He is beautifully put together and naturally balanced and uphill.
Started slowly and carefully under saddle over Winter, he now has the basics established with 3 relaxed, ground covering paces. He is going kindly under saddle both in the arena and out in the paddock with plenty of distractions around.
Rip has just started some very basic pole and jump work (cross-bars only) and has been very easy and straightforward.
Extensively hacked across farmland, and through the forest in a group. Very sensible fellow!
He has been very well handled and exposed to farm and sporthorse life since he was a weanling. A real pleasure to have around and do everything with.
Currently comfortably barefoot.
Reluctant sale of this really classy little guy. But he’s ready to start his competitive career and I’m growing another tiny human!
A gorgeous little young horse ready for his next rider to put their stamp on him in their discipline/s of choice. Although quiet and kind, Rip is still very green and will require a rider with the skill set to continue producing him.
One lucky rider is going to have a friend for life!
