🦌 A Sunday well spent in Block 5! Patience, persistence, and a bit of luck came together for this beautiful fallow buck. Memories made, miles covered, and another story to tell around the campfire.

Congrats mate 👏 🔥🌿

TIP #11 - STOP MORE THAN YOU WALK ⏸️🦌

One of the biggest mistakes hunters make is constantly moving.

Try stopping for 2-5 minutes regularly and just watch and listen. Once the forest settles, you’ll often notice movement you would’ve walked straight past.

Woodhill rewards patience.

TIP #9 - RESPECT THE FOREST 🌿

Take your rubbish out, follow permit rules, respect other hunters, and help protect the future of hunting at Woodhill.

We all play a part in keeping this tradition alive for future generations 🦌

Almost time for our annual Take A Kid Hunting (TAKH) Day! ✨

This is a balloted event with 18 spots available for kids aged 12 - 18. The day kicks off with a briefing, an education session, and a bite to eat before heading into the forest.

🦌 Each participant receives a goodie bag
🦌 Completes a fi****ms safety test
🦌 Hears from guest speakers promoting safe shooting practices & fi****ms safety
🦌 Learns about the history of the Woodhill Fallow Deer herd

Such a great opportunity to get young hunters learning, connecting, and experiencing the outdoors in a safe and supportive way.
