This story brings me a great deal of fulfilment in my work when I can change people's lives when they ask for help.

“When I started working with Michaela, I was exercising a lot and very fit, but I couldn’t lose weight. Now looking back I was not very strong, nor did I really know much about exercising properly despite regularly going to the gym for many years and often getting injured.
Over the last two years, I’ve lost 18kg, my strength has increased more than I ever expected, my cholesterol levels are back within the normal range. I’m no longer a size XL. I’m a comfortable M.
What made the difference wasn’t just exercise – it was having structure, the flexibility to fit it into my schedule, progression and someone who could teach me how to train safely, at the right intensity and sustainably for me and my life.
This hasn’t been a quick fix. I’ve followed nutrition meal plans in the past. I could follow the plan and get the weight off, but then the weight would slowly creep on again. Too much of the ‘good life’. Michaela has taught me how to eat for the long term being able to have everything. It’s been sustainable, realistic and empowering. People are regularly telling me I’m looking great.”
This client has chosen to remain anonymous, but their journey which they are still continuing with me, is a perfect example of what consistent, well-structured training can do over time, accompanied with one-to-one coaching. A structured program on its own is not enough to get real results.
