Sundays are hitting different right now.

We kicked off with Run Club, then rolled straight into the 8AM sessions, and the place was buzzing. Heaps of you turning up to take on the assault bike challenge, and the energy was next level.

That challenge has brought a real vibe to the gym. People pushing hard, backing each other, having a laugh while they do it. We are loving every minute.

Cold. Foggy. Freezing. And look who still showed up.

This morning the Challenge Group crew rolled in before the sun could even break through the fog, and we smashed a solid hour on those stairs. No excuses. No complaints. Just whānau turning up for each other and for themselves.

But this spot means something more to me. Trust stadium is where it all began. All those years ago I stood right here and held my very first ever training session, just me and one person who wanted to change their life. That was it. One person.

Now look. Look at this crew. Look at what one session to help one person turned into.

That’s the lesson. You never know what you’re starting when you just turn up. The days you least feel like showing up are the days that change everything. Anyone can train when it’s warm and easy. It takes something different to lace up in the cold and climb. That’s who these legends are.

Also great to have the kids there joining in. So special 💪🏾💪🏾

To the ones reading this from under the blankets, tomorrow’s your day. We’ll save you a spot. Just turn up. We’ll do the rest together.

Hey team join us this Sunday 14th at BBM West HQ 2 Margan Ave, New Lynn.

Our crew will meet 6.15am on Sunday morning for warm up before heading off on our run / walk which will be explained before we start. There are 3 routes to choose from ranging from just over 7km to 4km starting and finishing at the same place no one is left behind.

All stages welcome, hope to see you there! ❤️💪🏾🙅🏽
