Morning Team
We hope everyone is managing the winter months. With spring upon us the club is coming out of its winter hibernation 😅and starting to prepare for the start of the 2027 Track and Field season starting in late October.
Just a reminder for the members that we have the Agm today at 4pm and online this year.
With the flu going around at the moment that's proving to be a good decision.

The online registration links will open sometime in September and we will email the past members and post the dates once they are confirmed by the committee.

Reminder tomorrow night is our Senior Prizegiving for ages 7 years +. Starts 6:15pm
sharp. After we are finished all athletes will receive a sausage sizzle and goodie bag.
We will be selling hot chips too.

For those that didn’t make the junior prizegiving last week we will be at the club from 5pm if you wanted to pick up your child’s certificate.

As long as the rain stays away Prizegiving will be on the grass tonight between the club rooms and council bathroom block, so please bring bring a picnic mat or some chairs to sit on

Afternoon team
Just a reminder for tonight's club night we have the 2-6yr old Prizegiving on the grass area between the clubrooms and toilet block.👍
The grade 7-14yr have their normal club night program. 👍

We are in the middle of the secondary school track and field program and a big congratulations to Leyon Caffery the Auckland Secondary Schools Intermediate Discus and Shotput Champion. A big 56.69m throw to win the Discus. 👏👏
That's why we need a cage at the track Auckland Council.😀

And to continue the good news also congratulations to Daley Myks who threw a new PB of 33.45m to pick up the silver medal in the intermediate girls Discus.👏👏

Both athletes are back competing in the North Island Secondary School Athletics competition this weekend at Massey Park.

The organizing team are still a few officials short for the throws competition at the NISS competition so if any parent can assist this weekend either in a morning, afternoon or whole session then please email [email protected].🙏

Seniors (7 years +) will be having a fun night of athletics . 6:15pm start
