ANYONE CAN FLOG A KID. 🔥
Anyone can take an athlete from Day 1 and absolutely hammer them.
Run them into the ground.
Make them spew.
Have them crawling off the field.
Then stand back and say…
“Mean session.”
But that’s not always good coaching.
Sometimes that’s just ego training.
And one of the biggest problems with going too hard, too early?
You can increase the risk of injuries before the athlete has even had time to adapt.
If an athlete hasn’t built the strength, tissue tolerance, conditioning or movement capacity for the workload you’re throwing at them, simply adding MORE intensity isn’t the answer.
That’s why our Iron Up Pre-Season starts by finding the athlete’s baseline.
Where are they right now?
Then we build.
Week by week.
Load by load.
Progressively over time.
🏃🏽 Speed
💥 Power
🏋🏽 Strength
🫁 Conditioning
🧠 Resilience
📈 Progressive overload
We don’t want our athletes PEAKING in the first few weeks of pre-season.
We want them building through summer so when their actual sport season arrives…
they’re ready.
Fitter.
Stronger.
Faster.
More resilient.
And prepared for the demands of their sport.
There’s a massive difference between making a kid tired and actually developing an athlete.
Anyone can flog a kid.
Not everyone can prescribe a programme that gets them to peak when it matters.
PRE-SEASON 2026/27 🔥
Starts October 26.
If you want your athlete trained with PURPOSE this summer, get them into Iron Up.
