We welcome all new members, no matter what skill level. If you're interested in just a social hit, or want to improve your game, then we're the club for you! We are a family friendly club, with club play on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. But generally you will find people down at the courts all weekend who are keen for a social game. We field a team in the local inter club competition

and also have our own club champs every season, if you're interested in competition games. Or give us a call, we'd love to meet all potential new members! New season starts September 2014

Hi all, late notice but welcome to the 2025/26 season! Opening Day is today, Sunday 28 October from 1:30, everyone welcome to come down and give Auckland's only clay courts a try!

Our subs are very reasonable at $110 for seniors, $200 a couple and $300 for a family. We have a very friendly atmosphere, and all levels of playing experience are welcome

Join St Andrew's Road Tennis Club and be part of a fun, social group of tennis enthusiasts in Auckland's only clay court club.

Saturdays afternoons and Wednesday from late afternoon are our club days.
There's also interclub tennis every fortnight on Saturdays.

All skill levels are welcome!

Fees are very reasonable for a season of excitement:-
Adults - $110
Couples - $200
Family - $300
Juniors - $90

We’re having an Open October - so come down to the club, play with the regulars or play with your friends any Saturday afternoon from 2pm during October and give clay court tennis a try.

Hi all, status update!

With the alert level change to Level 3 Step 2, the Club committee has convened to determine how the Club will be able operate under that alert level.

We have determined the following:

- To maintain social distancing effectively, we have set a maximum of 15 members on site at the same time.

- The restriction on the number of household bubbles that can meet up will no longer apply at this level, so any 15 members can be present at the same time

- Social distancing and hygiene practices to be maintained as under Level 3

- The clubhouse may be opened in order to access bathroom facilities, however this must be on a β€œ1 in, 1 out” basis

- No tea/coffee making or washing of dishes indoors. Members may bring their own refreshments, but these may not be shared with others outside the member’s own bubble

We have started club activities with Wednesday and Saturday regular tennis.

If you haven't yet, please reply to the Michael's questionnaire, and as always, a friendly reminder to pay subs!

Hi All,
Update on play in covid alert level 3.1
Good News!!!
Play will be permitted at St Andrews Road Tennis Club during level 3.1, and the courts are now available for use.
If you are going to make use of the courts we ask that you follow the rules as applicable to the current alert level status:
1.Play only within your bubble or together with one other bubble.
2.You must sign in with the Covid Tracer App before playing and maintain physical distancing.
3. Please make use of the hand sanitiser that has been made available at the club.

Club days will commence once the alert level allows it.

It will be great to be able to play tennis again.
Please remember that subs for the new season are due by October 31st, payable to the Club’s bank account 12-3025-0204337-00. It is no longer necessary to email the Treasurer separately, as we now have online access to the account and can monitor transactions that way. Subscription rates remain very competitive and are as follows:

Junior: $70
Adult Single: $90
Adult Couple: $160
Family: $180

It might not have been the best weather, but we had a lovely day of tennis and Christmas afternoon tea last Sunday. And a MASSIVE thanks to Bunnings Mt Roskill, who have very kindly donated a new BBQ to the club. We can't thank them enough - looking forward to New Years sausage sizzle when the season starts again after the break.

What a successful Saturday! The St Andrews interclub team came away with an upset 5-3 away win against Ellerslie (played in great spirit as always), so congrats to them. Meanwhile, there was a great turnout for club play down at the courts, with everyone enjoying a good hit and the beautiful spring sunshine.
