New life jacket laws are now in place!

All club members are now required to wear a life jacket when kayaking, no exceptions.

Check out our senior squad leading by example, and showing us their top tips for cooling down afterwards!

For more information on what these law changes mean for you, check out Maritime NZ’s website: https://www.maritimenz.govt.nz/recreational-craft/maritime-transport-lifejackets-on-recreational-craft-amendment-bill/

Thank you so much to member Vaughan Reed who so generously has donated this beautiful piece of furniture for our newly renovated clubrooms! A great addition to the decor for regular use by members. Now all we need is 6-8 bar stools so if anyone can help with bar stools we would be very grateful! Fitting out the clubrooms is a true team effort!! Vaughan also donated a blender for the kitchen! We really appreciate your generosity! 🧡
