Congratulations to everyone who was promoted this term 👏 Every stripe and belt handed out today represents months of showing up, drilling the technique, tapping and coming back for more.

None of it was given. All of it was earned 💪

Ethan showed up today at his first ADCC competition and gave everything he had on the mat. Watching someone put in the work day after day and then go out and perform like that, that's what this is all about.
This sport doesn't reward shortcuts.😤

Tze, who coaches our kids every week, received his brown belt. Toan received his blue belt. Congratulations to both. Acheievments earned, not given.

The belt is a roadmap. Tonight, a few of our people took the next step on theirs.

Fadi walked into our gym as a beginner. Today, he stepped onto the national stage. 🥋

At NZGrappler Nationals 2026, Fadi didn't just compete, he stepped up, taking on higher belts with zero hesitation. He secured a finish with a clean armbar, battled hard, and brought home Silver.🥈

That's not just a result. That's character.
