Race 5 XC Relay - Sanders Reserve (Hosted by AKDH) - Sunday 13th September 2026

Registration Deadline: midnight Tuesday 8 September 2026

Contests Categories:

Intermediate (year 7 and 8 of any gender)
U16 Boys
U16 Girls
U16 Co-Ed / Mixed Gender
U20 Boys
U20 Girls
U20 Co-Ed / Mixed Gender

If a Co-Ed school team is made of all boys then they will be in the Boys school race

If a Co-Ed school team is made up of all girls then they will be in the Girls school race

E-bikes are not permitted at this event.

Note: The age group entered will be based on the age of the oldest rider in the team i.e. if you have one U20 rider, then the team must be entered as U20

Eligibility Requirements

Parents & Teachers

All parents and teachers (team managers) attending the XC race are eligible to create a team and compete against the kids. Entry is FREE.

During registration, select "Parent Team" from the school dropdown list and proceed to checkout after entering team manager and rider details.

Auckland Intermediate Schools

All students in Years 7 to 8 attending Full Primary or Intermediate School can enter a team direct on the Raceresults portal and payment made on entry.

All riders should be U14 and teams can be a mix of boys and girls.

Auckland Secondary Schools

This event is open to all secondary school students whose school is a member of College Sport Auckland.

Submit a CSA entry through this website and the submission will be forwarded to your school’s Sports Coordinator. Schools still need to enter teams through sporty and College Sport. No payment is required to complete this entry.

Once your entry is confirmed, your entry status will change from PENDING to CONFIRMED on the Participants list.

Top effort from the crew that turned up on Sunday for the AKDH Dig Day at Conical Peak Road.

With around 50 volunteers who gave up 3 hours of their Sunday it helped AKDH advance through about 65% of their new DH track.

With a crew of 2 marking forward on the trail, a crew of about 15 then clearing slash and raking to the soil, a crew 20 doing minor shaping and 2 digger crews to follow the track is no well down past the DH Container Hub.

The really good news is that its pretty much ready for the Trail Building crew to come and work their magic.

Here's to a hope full November shuttle day coming our way as soon as it's linked ... will keep you posted on the next one ......

Game on for tomorrows dig day up at Dome DH ... ( soon to be enduro and xc as well when tracks are built)

Conical Peak Road is about 300m on the rights past the Dome Valley Lookout rd on the right. Should be an NZDH flag there ....

Entry is about 300m down heading north past the Dome Look out on the right handside for Conical Peak Road. if the turning bay is full of other cars there is another turn around 500m past

Volunteers For Auckland Schools XC Race 5 Sanders Reserve.

We would ask that volunteers come forward on a 1 to 4 rider ratio please don't leave it upto someone else as we need volunteers swapped out for each race .... so you don't have to stand there all day.

You can enter / change your volunteer status by

1) Go to the Raceresults Event registration Page

1) Selecting your child's name in the "particpants" section of the registration page.

2) Click on the right-hand arrow to get the drop down below your child

3) click on the right hand arrow again this will take you to the log in for update volunteers.

4) Enter your childs date of birth

5) Then at the registration section enter your details (these are not public)

6) Continue on to choose your role and save to exit.
