Mount Wellington Swimming Club Mount Wellington Swimming Club was established in 1970 following the opening of the Swimarama Pool C

The Club runs a coaching and training programme covering ‘Age Group’ and ‘Junior’ competitive swimmers, under the direction of Senior Coach, Henry Chan and Development Coach, Victor Yuen. Swimmers must be able to swim competently to be eligible to join the club.

We had a small team competing at the NZ Junior Festival over the weekend, and they represented our club brilliantly. Their effort and attitude made us incredibly proud.
Special congratulations to Niko Major for finishing the meet with two podium finishes - an awesome achievement. Well done to all our swimmers who came away with some well-earned PBs!

Second week of holiday swim training almost done — great to see so many getting back into the water after the break and setting themselves up to hit the ground running at swim sports and the start of term. We’ve got one more week to go. Just a reminder that the INDOOR pool at The Lagoon is closed for its annual maintenance and will reopen after Auckland Anniversary.
