Attitude Archery

Kapiti Coast Archery Club hosted the Bowhunter Nationals this year and as always a super cool course to compete in. 68 targets over two days from wildcats to dinosaurs, everything was fair game.

Well done to all the dedicated archers that made the trip down and thank you to Kapiti Club for setting up the courses.

A contingent of Attitude Archers snuck in and took some hardware too >:D

We're half way into the Un-Marked season, across two leagues: The NZFAA and the Waikato Interclub Series.
Come rain, wind or even more rain, archers are still getting out there to see how their distance judging and 3D game stacks up!
Thanks to Lakeview Archers and others for the photos.

Our Attitude Archers put some big scores up, including Ed top scoring every event he entered!

🎯 Out with the old, in with the... well, exactly the same! 🎯

The old target wall has officially retired after years of faithful service and gazillions of arrows. We'd like to thank it for its sacrifice. 🫡

We've just replaced our entire indoor target wall at Attitude Archery and it's looking fresh, sparkley, and ready for an absolute hammering! 🏹💥

For those wondering, we've stuck with Delta McKenzie targets. Why? Because after years of shooting them, we trust them 100%.

They're tried, tested, and proven to handle everything from target bows to the heavy hitters pushing 70lb+, while still letting you pull arrows out without needing a gym membership. 💪😅

The new wall is ready. The question is... are your groups?

Come and help us put some holes in it!

NZFAA Marked Nationals 2026
A huge thank you to the Massey Archery Club volunteers and our very own Terry Basset for the huge effort in getting the marked course ready for a perfect weekend.

Clear skies, minimal wind, and a big turnout of competitors for the new freshly built course. It was a great opportunity for some of New Zealand's best archers to put their skills to the test.

224 competition arrows, over 10 hours on the course over two days, aiming at targets from 7 yards/6 meters to 80 yards/72 meters.

Thank You to Scott Townsend for supplying most of these great photos!
