Last week, I had an opportunity to present at about nutrition 💡

Instead of deliverying typical stuff like "how much protein donwe need?" or "is creatine necessary?", I thought it would be more interesting to discuss things you can't hear from AI.

So I put these 3 common problems as examples to explain things we should all know and what I learnt from my experience as a PT and being in the industry for the past 10+ years.

It was a fun night and I got some interesting questions too! Thanks for those who attended! 🤩

How many hours you need to function well is different from person to person. For me, if it doesn’t reach 7 hours, my productivity drops massively, and my body shuts down. I prioritise sleep because that’s what I need to keep doing what I’m passionate about. How many hours do you need? and why?

Are you REALLY a short sleeper?

「自分はショートスリーパーだと思ってたけど、8時間寝る生活を始めてみたら全然寝れたし、むしろ元気になった!」ってことよくあります。実際にショートスリーパーである確率はめちゃめちゃ低いので、自分は6時間で大丈夫だって決めつけないで!

Your brain function after a 6 hour sleep is as low as being tipsy.. Make sure your nerves are at rest when you go to bed too!

What does a PT normally eat?
トレーナーだからお菓子食べないんでしょって言われるんですけど、食べますよー!でも、「お菓子食べたい欲が教えてくれるもの」は気にしていて、方向修正のきっかけにしてます。

When I have cravings, that means my body needs more nutrients. So I think about how I can improve my lunch and dinner while eating gummy bears :)

トレーナーとして初登場のテレビにこんな大舞台を選んでいただきました。光栄すぎる🥹💙クリスマスの夜は私と過ごしましょ〜
It's the program that I grew up watching, and they are having a xmas 2 hour special edition. It was an amazing experience talking about health and fitness with people I admired on TV since I was a kid.

Another dream-come-true moment 🥹💙🥹💙🥹
