🏁 Connor Clarke Motorsports – 25/26 Season 🏁

Pretty cool seeing all the tracks and drivers starting to gear up for the new season!

As for us… after a lot of thought and discussion, Brett and I have decided to park the car for the 25/26 season. Unfortunately, our awesome crew from last year aren’t able to help this time around due to other commitments, and without them, it becomes to hard on myself and family to try and do on my own and it just wouldn’t be the same. So I’ll be putting the car together but focusing this season on family and setting up for a stronger return in 26/27.

I want to take a moment to thank all of our incredible sponsors from last season, A-Game New Zealand, Coastline Transport, Seamount Racing, commercialmetalsltd, Superfreight, Lilyworld, Transport Trailer Services, ITS Truck Sprays, BRK Karts NZ, SevenThree and all the others that helped me your support means the world and truly helped keep us on track (literally!).

A massive shoutout as well to the legends who stepped in on the crew last season you guys taught me a lot, and I’m genuinely grateful for the time, effort, and knowledge you shared.

In the meantime, I’ll be keeping the fitness and competitive spirit up with a bit of dirt karting and some golf ⛳️

Thanks again to everyone who continues to support the journey, I’m sure I’ll still make my way to the track throughout the season to lend a hand and cheer a few of you on.

🏁 Offseason Update 🏁

Both cars have been fully striped, cleaned, repaired and assessed for anything needed to be done. We’ve also received our TRD engine back from Speedway Engines in the USA, and she’s looking brand new. The Esslinger is currently at BSL Racing getting a full check over. Definitely excited to start getting back into the shop and starting the rebuilds. We’ve been keeping busy out there searching for some more partners to come on board, one key thing we need help on is our oils and lubricants. Have to keep our cars running and looking 💯.

Although the race season is very hard on the body and family, man am I missing it. I want to get out and fling some clay 🏎️

My crew have even got me a little hooked on golf. I was terrible when we all got together to play during last season so decided to go to the local range and get some practice in.
Definitely good fun but not fast paced enough for me.
Good back up sport tho 😂

We’re full throttle into the off-season rebuild here at Connor Clarke Motorsports. The Seamount Racing TRD is on its way back from Indianapolis after its rebuild, and both frames have had a few war wounds touched-up thanks to the team at BSL. Now it’s time to prep for a big season ahead!

Unfortunately, the midgets have had to pull out of Huntly this weekend due to low numbers, bringing our season to an end.

What a season it’s been! I’ve had the incredible opportunity to race a midget, and I’m proud of our achievements—competing in multiple international features, completing 2x 50 lappers and a 96 lapper, all without any mechanical failures. This is a testament to our outstanding equipment and maintenance.

A huge thank you to Jarrod Guptill for being an amazing crew chief and helping get the car to the track every meeting. I also want to thank Stefan, Nathan, Ian, and Cade for their help at the track, often away from their loved ones. Special thanks to Neville, Jayedan, Jack and Dayna for being a fantastic backup crew when times got tough.

I’m also incredibly grateful to my car owners, Brett and Leigh Morris, for their support and for allowing me to use the amazing facilities at Seamount Racing while piloting their BB-7 bullet midget.

And of course, a big shoutout to my sponsors! Your support has made this season possible, and I can’t wait to work together next season to make it even bigger and better!

🚨 Final Meeting of the Season! 🚨

We’re heading to Huntly Speedway this Saturday for our last race of the season! It’ll be our first time on this track, making it a great learning opportunity. With Huntly on the calendar for next season, getting some laps in will be essential.

Join us for an exciting night featuring a large field of F2 midgets! Racing starts at 6 PM, so make sure to arrive a couple of hours early and come say hello in the pits!

This first season in the midget has been incredible. We’ve achieved our main goals of finishing feature races, staying as clean as possibly on the track and just getting laps in.

It’s been a busy few months, but an absolute dream come true. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing sponsors, crew, and family.

Well we made it home in one piece kinda
And completed the full 96 Lap feature.

Got very lucky after getting tangled with a car at the half way point we were driving around under yellow with both rear tyres popped. They called the pit stop as we were circling.
With a fresh set of tyres and full of fuel and a cold A-Game we set off for the rest of the feature.
Just holding our line and being consistent we managed to make it home in 11th. Was getting pretty tied 3/4 through tho but we finished and that was our biggest goal
