NEW CHAMPIONS | SHADE SYSTEMS CHAMP OF CHAMPS TRIPLES
What a way to finish the weekend! Spectators were treated to outstanding bowls in both finals, with the men’s decider going right down to the wire.

Congratulations to all our finalists and a huge salute to our 2026 Shade Systems Champ of Champs Triples winners: Women – Carlton Cornwall (Women) and New Lynn (Men) who both displayed skill, teamwork and determination.

The drama delivered today, and now just four teams in each field remain in the hunt for Centre glory!

Tomorrow promises plenty of excitement as the semi-finals get underway from 9.00am at Royal Oak Bowls. Come along and cheer on the teams as they battle for a place in the finals and the coveted Champ of Champs title.

1-5 YEAR SQUAD NAMED FOR BOMBAY BATTLE!

The blue and white is calling! 💙🤍

Our Bowls Auckland 1–5 Winter Quad squad has been selected, with eight players set to make their debut in this year's Bombay Battle.

The team will head to Te Aroha on 4 July to take on the unique challenge of winter bowls on natural greens, representing Auckland against some tough opposition.

Congratulations to everyone selected. We can't wait to follow your journey over the coming weeks!

On the eve of the first big tournament (Kings Birthday Fours) about to played under the newly installed covered green at Papatoetoe Hunters Corner Bowling Club we look back at a fantastic opening earlier in the month.

The completion also marked another significant milestone, with the lighting installation becoming the first facility upgrade project supported by the newly created Bowls Auckland Club Investment Fund.

NEW CHAMPIONS | SHADE SYSTEMS CHAMP OF CHAMP PAIRS
After a weekend full of top-notch bowls, we have our 2026 Champ of Champ Pairs winners!

MEN’S CHAMPIONS: Adam Wishnoski & Bruce Walters (New Lynn) defeated Sam Brack & Richie Rogers (Mt Wellington) 16–11.
WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS: Doreen Jensen & Linda Petro (Ōtāhuhu Railway) edged out Maroi Pereeti & Jo Cheng (Auckland BC) in a nail-biting 17–16 finish.

Congratulations to our new champions and a huge well done to all finalists for an outstanding competition.
