Congratulations to our Coach Ehsan, who set three world records at the UMWF World Cup and Masters Commonwealth Championships last month.

Competing in the Men’s 55–59 age group, 71kg category, Ehsan set three world records:

Sn**ch: 88kg
Clean & Jerk: 115kg
Total: 203kg

He also earned the title of Champion of Champions. We're so proud of you, Coach!

Great day of lifting at the Elevation Weightlifting Invitational 🌟 we had 6 lifters - 3 of which were stepping onto the competition platform for the first time. Everyone had the chance to lock in some personal bests, technical improvements, or some mental practice for competitions. Such a great way to close out the year for our community! But don’t worry, we’ll still be training over the next few weeks 😉

Huge thank you to our volunteers who helped TO and load to make the show go on! Can’t wait to see everyone rocking their “new” merch from the activewear market and all the raffle goodies going to good use 🥳

On Saturday 9 December, we’ll be hosting an unsanctioned comp PLUS a raffle and an activewear market to raise funds for one of our coaches to get to Japan next year for the Tri-Nations Masters Championships 🤩

Entries close next Wednesday (6 Dec)
Entry fee: $20
Venue: Gillies Ave Weightlifting Gym, Newmarket
Weigh-in: 12pm
Start: 1pm

The raffle prize includes a gym bag, t-shirt, Shakti mat, foam roller, lifting straps, a PT session, and other treats and goodies (valued over $350!). Tickets are $10 and 3 for $25. The raffle winner will be drawn after the comp. Comment “WIN” or DM us for the bank account details to secure your tickets.

The activewear market will also take place at the comp. Donate any extra great-condition activewear you have in your closet to be sold at the market - and refresh your own selection! Everything will be sold at $5 an item. Please bring items by 12pm.
