Congratulations to our Girls' U15 side, who yesterday won the South Island Football Tournament in Christchurch, going undefeated throughout the tournament before beating ลŒtakaro 2-0 in the final!

It was a fantastic few days down South, with some brilliant football on display and a well-deserved victory for the team.

A huge congratulations as well to our own Holly Graydon, who was named Player of the Tournament! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

Help support our U19 Boys and Girls Sides as we raise funds for the Napier U19 Football Tournament! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

Thanks to Surti, $12 from every 10-pack of samosas purchased will be donated to the Club, helping support our U19s and their tournament campaign.

5 Options to choose from: Vegetable, Lamb, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, and Butter Paneer

10-packs are $30 each, or you can grab one of the bundle options for $105, including the Favourites Box, Meat Lovers, or Vegetarian Supreme.

Orders close Thursday 8 October, so get your orders in and enjoy some seriously good samosas!

Weโ€™re looking for volunteers to join our Wanderers, Down Syndrome Team, and new Adaptive Football Programme!

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and show some support in our community as we continue to grow our Adaptive Football Programme.

There's a range of athletes who need our help, and the more Springs Whฤnau around to help them enjoy their football, the better!

Seven Western Springs teams took part in the Auckland Champions Cup this weekend, battling through some very wet Auckland conditions and representing the Green & White across the tournament.

It was a great opportunity for our players to get out on the pitch, enjoy some competitive football and experience a tournament environment alongside their teammates.

Our U11 Girls and U17 Girls both came away as grade winners, with plenty of great football played across all seven teams. ๐Ÿ†

Well done to all our players, coaches, managers and supporters who made the weekend happen! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿค

๐Ÿšจ TECHNICAL DIRECTOR WANTED! ๐Ÿšจ

Western Springs AFC is looking for a Technical Director to lead the football direction of one of New Zealandโ€™s largest community football clubs.

This newly created role will help shape the future of football across the Club, with close to 3,000 registered players from U5 through to Premier and Senior football.

The Technical Director will:

- Lead the Clubโ€™s Football Philosophy and playing approach
- Oversee the Academy and player development framework
- Develop and support coaches across the Club
- Build clear pathways from community through to senior football
- Help create a strong One Club culture

This is a football leadership role based at Seddon Fields, with an initial two-year contract.

Our Academy and Pre-Academy programmes provide players with a structured environment to develop their football and take the next step in their journey.

The Term 4 programme provides an opportunity for players to train in our Academy environment, with our 2027 Academy and Pre-Academy teams selected at the end of Term 4.
