MĀNGERE HAWKS NETBALL CLUB – AGM NOTICE

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up!

Date: Sunday 15 November 2026
Time: 5:00pm
Venue: Māngere Hawks Netball Club

Nominations, remits proposing changes to the club constitution and agenda items are due by 7 November 2026 to the club secretary. An AGM booklet will be circulated to members five days before the meeting.

An email with further information has been sent to all members. Please check your inbox for the details. If you did not receive an email and would like more information- please email [email protected]

We strongly encourage all members, parents and whānau to attend. This is your opportunity to have your say, share ideas and help shape the future of our club.

KURANGAITUKU 2026' PYJAMA PARTY 🎉

Good luck to our 3 teams who are travelling down to Rotorua to compete at the Kurangaituku Tournament this weekend. Our Knights (Intermediate), HFL (Junior College) and Allstars (Senior College) players have worked hard to get here. 🖤💚🦅

Thank you to our board, parents and whānau for entrusting us with your girls to represent our Māngere Hawks Netball Club for the weekend! Without their buy in- we wouldn't be able to experience things like this! 🙌🏽

Huge thank you to Ramon, Kali, Vae, Ta'a, Liana and Sau for preparing our girls and looking after them. Without our coaches and managers we wouldn't be able to do this! One last weekend for you, and the off season prep starts 💚🖤🦅

Lastly a huge mihi to New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) for funding our teams accommodation. Your support alleviates the financial pressures for whānau. 🙌🏽

🏐 HPNC END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT! 💙🩷🦅

Yesterday, our College and Intermediate teams headed out to Howick-Pakuranga for an end-of-season tournament- a great opportunity to test themselves and get some valuable game time under their belts before heading down to Kurangaituku in a couple of weeks!

We took our Hawks Knights team and placed them into the College Grade, while our Senior College Allstars, made up mostly of our Junior College players, also stepped up into the College Grade.

🔥 Hawks Knights had an awesome day- winning 1 game, drawing 2 and only suffering 1 loss, which came against our Allstars team.

💪 Our Allstars were outstanding, winning all of their games convincingly. What an awesome opportunity for our HFL team to join in and get some game time!

A HUGE thank you to Ramon and Sau for supporting our teams out in Howick-Pakuranga today. Your time, commitment and support mean so much to our players. ❤️

And of course, we can't forget our amazing parents and whānau! 🙌🏽 Thank you for always showing up, supporting, transporting, cheering and backing our players. Without you, we simply wouldn't be able to attend tournaments like this. We appreciate you more than you know! 🫶🏽

Now it's time to put the work in! 💪🏽🔥 All the best with your trainings over the next couple of weeks as you prepare for Kurangaituku. We can't wait to see what you're capable of!

These coaches have worked tirelessly over the past 2 seasons, obtaining their CCA Level 1s last year and getting their CCA Level 2s this year 🔥These coaches showcase that coaching is more than what happens on the court- it is about building confidence, creating opportunities, developing our players and impacting the next generation.

We are incredibly proud to see our coaches continuing to develop their skills, knowledge and practice by investing in their own coaching journey. ❤️💚🖤
