North Shore Table Tennis Association

What an incredible achievement for North Shore Table Tennis Association at the 2026 New Zealand Senior & Junior National Championships!

Twenty‑four of our players represented North Shore at this big event. We secured a combined total of 22 gold🥇23 silver 🥈and 20 bronze medals 🥉across individual and team events. Remarkably, almost every player came away with at least one medal.

Our girls had an especially outstanding campaign, claiming the majority of the female events — we took gold in the Open Women’s Team, U15 and U19 Girls Team, plus the U15 and U19 Singles and Doubles titles in those respective age groups.

For a young, growing table‑tennis association, this is an incredibly hard‑earned result. We are so proud of every athlete who gave it their all on the table, and hugely grateful to our coaches and parents for their amazing support.

Here’s to North Shore Table Tennis Association — may we keep getting stronger and grow from strength to strength! 🏓🇳🇿

The North Shore Open has come to a successful conclusion.

We would like to sincerely thank every participating player for their active involvement. Our gratitude also goes to the Counties Manukau Table Tennis Association for their support, as well as John, Jillie, Kate and all volunteers for their hard work. This event could not have run so smoothly and successfully without all of you.

We are also honoured to have Izania, Chief Executive of Table Tennis New Zealand (TTNZ), attend the event and present the awards for the Open category.

We wish North Shore table tennis continued growth and greater success in the future!
