On behalf of our club Henderson Valley Basketball Club 💚🩷 we would like to send all our love and condolenses to Krissy, Harlyn and Dellz and the Jellies basketball club and families for their loss of their wonderful and inspiring Husband, Father and Coach PJ King 🥲🥲🥲 💔💔💔 This has been hard to take as I have known PJ my uso for a long time since our Youthtown days..he was an awesome brother/uso who helped me through some tough times when establishing the HVB club and also just being there for advice which I will definitely miss our talanoas with him..He was always giving his time and effort to everyone no matter who you are, when he was blessed with boxes of uniforms, he didnt hesitate to give them out to everyone and I mean EVERYONE and that was just his nature and you can see here with my other brother Coach Val..they both took time to help my son Emmerson out which I will always be truly grateful for ❤️ As a basketball community we are hurting because we lost a REAL one a YOUTHTOWN alum and legend..no one was more real than PJ 💯 We will cry, reminise and celebrate the legacy of this wonderful man 😢😢😢 We love you always PJ..❤️❤️

Waitakere West Auckland Basketball Inc rep season 2026 is done..💚🩷 Super proud of our team who came runners up 🥈in the northern regionals reserve grade 👏👏 which feature 14 other teams which is a huge achievement especially alot of players are playing reps for the first time and are still only 11 and 12 years old..but what we did outstanding was the ability to share the basketball play our trademark Henderson Valley Basketball Club defence and ran the ball hard..lastly we made sure that we represented our families and our communities of West Auckland proudly 💚🖤 a big thanks to all those who sent through their love and support for our team 💯🙏🏻..finishing off the year now TERM FOUR of our u10s and u12s muster starting soon for POLYHOOPZ with Tuilaepa Youth Mentoring Services -TYMS 💚🩷 then u14s FIAFIA basketball competition on Tuesdays and u17s on Thursdays at HHS in 2 weeks time..💚🩷 we will put out a notice if any places become available to join our club trainings only..blessings #

Representing Waitakere West Auckland Basketball Inc as Waitakere Malie aka Henderson Valley Basketball Club u14s 💚🩷 we are through to the GRAND FINAL for the Reserve Grade tomorrow at 330pm vs Waikato Black 👏👏 During the week we went through pool play 5-1..in a close semi final we were able to beat and hold off the previous undefeated Waikato Red in our pool so here we are! off to the big DANCE ❤️ win lose or draw..we are proud of this achievement as all of them have never played reps before..but our VALLEY system of sharing the basketball doing the basics and playing our trademark Valley Boyz defence has been immense and the systems we have in place 💯💯 but for our players..it is the VALLEY brotherhood they are building both off and on the court..thats all that matters to our club so play tomorrow do our lotu (prayers) and we will always give thanks to the man above and then step out there and rep the VALLEY forever 💚🩷 lastly..on behalf of our club we would like to send our love and condolences to Coach Jemma Palmer and her aiga during this time..😢❤️💯 we will be thinking of you tomorrow and play for you bosslady arohamai x blessings always Coach Robson 💚🩷
