Kakusei 2026

10/10/2026

What a milestone for our dojo, Auckland City Kyokushin, in planning and successfully completing the first Kakusei!

Watch this space for future Kakusei events. This event is going to make some noise internationally! The date for Kakusei 2027 will be announced in the coming weeks.

A huge congratulations to all the fighters. You all made us proud and fought with true Kyokushin spirit.

A big thank you to Vahid Unesi at Kings Academy for all your support, providing the venue, and your mentorship. You are a legend!

Thank you to Shihan Virgil Troy and the Napier team World Karate Organisation Shinkyokushinkai New Zealand for travelling all the way to Auckland to support us and help make this event a success. Much respect.

Thank you to my Auckland City Kyokushin management team Isabella Qiu, Fahima Azizi, Stephen Riki Williams and Abdul. You all worked incredibly hard to make this happen.

Thank you to all my Auckland City Kyokushin members. Without your help and support, we couldn't have made this happen.

Thank you to BurgerFuel Queen Street for your support.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came along to support the event and cheer on the fighters. Your presence and support meant a lot to us.

Osu!
