New Zealand U18 Women’s Beach Volleyball team head to California from 26 June to 12 July 2026 for an international campaign focused on growth, challenge, and opportunity.

Six athletes across three pairs will represent New Zealand, competing and training in one of the strongest beach volleyball environments in the world. The programme includes events at Huntington Beach and concludes at the BVCA National Championships in Hermosa Beach.

With preparation underway across Christchurch, Nelson, and Auckland, the squad is embracing the campaign theme Be Bold: stepping outside comfort zones, backing themselves under pressure, and learning through every experience.

Volleyball New Zealand’s U18 Men’s Beach Volleyball team are heading to the U18 World Championships in The Hague, Netherlands from 2 to 13 July

The team features Kyson Norton (Harbour) and Cruize Satiu (Bay of Plenty), with Coach Luis Paulo leading the campaign.

New Zealand has been awarded a wildcard entry into the event, giving the team an important opportunity to compete on the world stage after the original qualification event was unable to be completed due to external circumstances in the region.

Once in The Hague, the pair will enter the qualification round with the aim of progressing into the main draw, with a potential pre tournament event also providing valuable match exposure.

New Zealand Under 20 Men's Indoor Manager EOI

Volleyball New Zealand is seeking expressions of interest from Managers who wish to be part of the NZ Junior Men's Indoor Programme for the 2026–2027 cycle.

The successful Team Manager will work closely with Head Coach Don To'o, Volleyball New Zealand, and support the team throughout preparations for the 2027 Asian Under-20 Men's Volleyball Championship.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate strong management experience, a commitment to athlete development and safety, and alignment with our values of Manaakitanga (we give, we care, we respect), Mahi Tahi (we listen, we connect, we inspire), and He Tangata (we embrace diversity, we promote equity).
