⚠️ LET’S NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AT HPNC ⚠️

This article is a timely reminder of what can happen when sideline behaviour becomes aggressive and disrespectful.

At HPNC, everyone has the right to enjoy netball in a safe, welcoming and positive environment, including our players, umpires, coaches, managers, officials, volunteers and spectators.

Please remember:

🩷 Encourage and support all players
🩷 Respect the umpires and their decisions
🩷 Use positive and appropriate language
🩷 Treat opposition teams and supporters with respect
🩷 Be a positive role model for our tamariki and rangatahi

Our children are there to play the game they love. Let’s allow them to have fun, learn, compete and create wonderful memories, without inappropriate behaviour from the sidelines.

Be passionate, cheer loudly and support your team, but always do so with kindness, respect and self-control.

Let’s work together to ensure this never becomes necessary at HPNC.

Get ready for a day filled with fun, encouragement and positive sideline support!

We want every player to feel proud, supported and able to enjoy their netball. Let’s show everyone what a positive sporting environment looks like by cheering respectfully, encouraging all players and showing appreciation for our coaches, managers, umpires and volunteers.

Wear something PINK—big or small—and encourage your supporters to join in too! 🌸🎀

Please remember that all teams must still play in their full playing uniform.

💖 Positive Vibes Only – Teams and supporters of the Week 💖

A huge congratulations to all of our Pre-AIMS and Pre-UNISS teams and supporters for being named this week's Positive Vibes Only teams and supporters of the Week! 👏🏐

The atmosphere around HPNC on Sunday was absolutely fantastic. The courts were full of energy, encouragement and excitement, with players, coaches, managers, supporters and officials all contributing to an amazing day of netball.

It was wonderful to see so much respect for one another, positive sideline behaviour, great sportsmanship and plenty of fun both on and off the court. The music, cheering and friendly environment created a memorable day for everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a positive experience. This is exactly what the Positive Vibes Only campaign is all about – supporting each other, celebrating great netball and creating an environment where everyone can enjoy the game.

Keep bringing the positive vibes, HPNC! 💗🙌
