Massive result for Amanda Woodd in the heat of Townsville, straight out of a Cambridge Winter. What a 🔨

The smile tells the story with Hamilton Triathlon Club's Amanda Woodd en route to silver in the 50-54 age group Aquabike on the final day of the 2024 World Triathlon Multisport Championships.

Team NZL collected 12 Aquabike medals in total to shift their tally to 73 medals - and their is still the long distance triathlon results to come!

This year I went to Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge and did the Gravel Grind for something different. I've done enough laps of the lake.
What a fantastic course with a bit of everything. The wind was brutal and I forgot to act my age. I tried to hang with the young bucks, got schooled but held on for 3rd OA.
Rode some mint gravel Fri/Sun also to make it a most enjoyable weekend with good mates. The movie is from Vegas on Sunday
