Mt Eden Ballet Academy

Mt Eden Ballet Academy Auckland Dancing School MEBA students enjoy lessons given by a highly professional and talented group of teachers.

Many have taught and danced professionally both in New Zealand and Europe with leading dance companies including The Hamburg Ballet, Dresden State Opera, the Royal New Zealand Ballet and leading contemporary companies. When dancing at MEBA students of all ages have opportunities to dance at their level, be it recreational, competitive or vocational and are exposed to some of the best choreographers in New Zealand dance education.

We are so excited to share that Annie He was chosen as one of the Top 24 in the Pre-Competitive Contemporary section at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in Houston, USA! This is such an honour, and we are incredibly proud of Annie. Wendy, Ava, Samiya, Neve, Issy, Casey and Emilia had a wonderful experience at Claudia Dean Scholarships this week!!
We are thrilled for Wendy, who was the Runner Up in Level 4 (Senior level)! Wendy also won a short term scholarship to New Zealand School of Dance.
Ava was awarded ‘The Denise Dean Award’ and a modelling offer for an upcoming photo shoot.
All the girls had a lovely week in Brisbane amongst many talented dancers!
