Manurewa Rugby is an amateur sporting organisation based in the town of Manurewa within the Rugby Union of Counties Manukau Rugby Union., Auckland New Zealand. Founded in 1921 Manurewa Rugby, affectionately known as Rewa, has a long history of success on the field and numerous players who have excelled to International duties for New Zealand and other countries. We are the most successful club wit

h the Counties Manukau Union with numerous titles as the champion club. Its with an extremely heavy heart that our club shares the news of the passing of one of our great men of our club John 'Higgy' Quayle.
Higgy's Funeral will held at Manurewa Rugby Football Club on Monday 11th May at 1pm, we invite all those that wish to celebrate and remember the life of this great man to attend.
We asked one of our many club many that is never too short for words to write something about our Higgy, thank you Andrew 'Tali' Talaimanu for sharing these.
