Most people think they need to heal every part of their past before they can truly move forward. WRONG.

I’ve seen it happen in & out of work—people using their trauma as a reason for bad behaviour, staying stuck, or giving up. ❌

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲.

Just like with a physical injury, recovery starts with small steps.
You wouldn't wait until the pain is gone to start moving, in fact moving is required for healing. 🪄
From gentle exercises → gradually building strength → eventually thriving.

I used to feel like I was full of potential, but something kept holding me back.

I believed others were the problem:
🪲 They didn’t value my ideas.
🪲 They didn’t recognise my strengths.
🪲 They didn’t trust me to lead or make tough calls.

And it showed—at work, in relationships, even in my health.

Frustration pushed me to re-evaluate:
how I worked, how I lived, and how I could step into the person I was built to be.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱:
✊It wasn’t about others seeing my potential—it was about showing them my results.
✊I was waiting for permission because I feared mistakes, but 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴.
✊I was so worried about judgment that I forgot: most of the time, people aren’t even thinking about me.

“𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘔𝘦?” If your NY’s resolution has already been broken, you’re not alone!

By the second week of February, as many as 𝟴𝟬% of resolutions are already broken. Fast forward to the end of the year, and only 𝟴% are kept. 🤯

So, what can you do to smash it this year? 👇

1. Write it down.
Writing your goals down increases the likelihood of achieving them by 42%.

2. Focus on the systems, not the goal.
Goals are good for planning, and systems are good for actually making progress.
Ask yourself: 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯?

3. Ask WHY is this goal important?
Dig deep. If you can't answer this with something that resonates deeply, the goal might not be worth pursuing.

4. Catch your self-talk.
Recognise when your self-talk is working against you and challenge it.
Acknowledge that voice, and then take action anyway!

5. How will you keep yourself accountable?
Accountability is the bridge between intention and ex*****on.
Find someone to check in with or set regular milestones to track your progress.

It’s exhausting.

In just one year, we’ve switched up Sahaḥ's marketing strategy four times. 🤯 Yep, that’s startup life—figuring out what works and what doesn’t while juggling a million moving parts.

But let’s be honest, it’s tough not to feel:
😖 Like nothing’s working
😖 Like all the effort is wasted
😖 Like giving up might be easier

But here’s the thing: we’re not giving up.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 is scary.
Change is draining.
But change is necessary if you want to level up.
