🌸 HAPPY SPRING, LADIES! 🌸

Well… apparently. 😂

1st September may officially be the start of spring on our calendars, but Auckland clearly didn’t get the memo today! 🌬️🥶☔

Cold, windy and looking suspiciously like rain… not quite the glorious spring day we were hoping for!

BUT, if you’re feeling a little cheated, here’s some good news… 🌷

Meteorologically, spring starts today, but astronomical spring doesn’t actually begin until the spring equinox on 23 September.

So we’ve got another three weeks for the weather to sort itself out! 😂☀️🌸

And in the meantime, the days are getting longer, summer is getting closer, and we’ll keep moving our bodies whatever Auckland throws at us. 💪❤️

🚩 Immediate red flag.

Because apparently my definition of “fun” means:

A little more resistance.
A little less rest.
A new exercise I just made up
“Just one more…”
And some slightly questionable variation I’m far too excited to show you.

Meanwhile everyone is shaking, sweating and giving me that look while I’m standing there smiling like:

“Isn’t this GOOD?!”

And you’re all thinking...

✨ SO INSPIRED SPOTLIGHT IS ON LAUREN ✨

This week’s Spark of Light is our gorgeous Lauren ❤️

I actually went back through our very first email correspondence, and I can officially confirm it… Lauren and I have had eight glorious years together! 🥰

Eight years of Beach Camp, lots of laughs, chats and so many special moments along the way. We’ve watched each other’s children grow up over those years and shared plenty of parenting stories, advice and information, which I’ve really appreciated and found so helpful.

Lauren, I also want to thank you for something you probably don’t even realise you do. You have always been so good at letting me know when you appreciate what we do. Those little moments of validation genuinely mean a lot to me. ❤️

As our second longest-standing member, it makes me so happy to know that eight years later you still enjoy coming, still get so much from Beach Camp, and still value the environment that we have all created together.

Thank you for your loyalty, your support, all the laughs and for simply being such a lovely part of So Inspired for all these years.

💛This weeks So Inspired SPOTLIGHT is on SARAH 💛

We’re once again shining the spotlight on one of our longest standing members, the wonderful Sarah Austin, who has been coming to Beach Camp for an incredible 12 years! 🥰

After so many years together, Sarah has become a very special friend. We’ve shared so many seasons of life, plenty of laughs and jokes, lots of heart to hearts, and an understanding that naturally comes from spending so many years training and journeying through life alongside one another.

Sarah is someone I truly admire. She is incredibly hardworking, a devoted mum, and a successful career woman with a big and demanding role, yet she continues to make time for herself, her health, her friendships and all the little things that make her feel good. ❤️

To me, that is such a wonderful example of what a strong woman looks like. Someone who gives so much, but still understands the importance of caring for herself too.

Sarah, thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, the laughs and for choosing to spend 12 whole years of your fitness journey with me. It has been such a privilege.

I totally admire you and appreciate the lovely human you are. Here’s to many more adventures together! 🥂💪❤️
