Season 25-26 done and dusted!

Last weekend marked our final run of the 25-26 season at the recently reopened 21 Speedway in Meremere. We can’t wait to get back there, it will be an absolute game changer for open wheel racing in New Zealand.

This season we completed 22 meetings at 7 different tracks.

The highlight of the season was finishing 2nd at the New Zealand Grand Prix at Kihikihi then backing it up with another podium the week after.

We are so excited for whats to come next season and can’t wait to get into it again.

Michael and Nate Brough for towing our car and gear to Rotorua and Huntly when our trailer was out of action. Absolute legends making sure we didnt miss a meeting

Thank you to my pit crew - Poppy, Dad and Brian. The hours and work you guys put in is appreciated so much.

My support crew - Mum, Aunty, Grandma, Grandad, Turtle, Rachel and last but not least Jaelyn for travelling the country with us to most meetings, thank you.

Also to Nanny who can’t make it to the meetings but religiously watches live streams and support us.

Time for a tear down and rebuild for another massive season next year and hopefully those couple extra steps on the podium!

Last night saw us at Huntly Speedway for the Waikato TQ Champs and Round 11 of Auckland TQs - ATQMA Points Championship.

Heat 1 - G11➡️ 10th

Track was pretty one laned and tough to make moves on but went forward one spot

Heat 2 - G5 ➡️ 7th

Made some moves and got up to around 3rd or 4th but the track had a few decent sized ruts in it by now and clipped one sending the car on a big bike. Dropped backed a fair way and managed to get back up to 7th

Feature - G11 ➡️ DNF

Starting 11th meant the job was on to get a good points haul. Unfortunately a car infront checked up and we had nowhere to go, ran into the back on them while also bouncing out of a rut which bent our left hand wishbone which meant the chain came loose and ended our feature race there. Racing incident, nobodys fault as such, just one of those things that happen in battle.

Thanks to Huntly for a great night under challenging circumstances. The track was pretty good considering the amount of rain there has been this week.

The team are already onto the job with the car and we will be back on track next weekend at Meeanee Speedway on Easter Saturday!

Food vendors will be around the venue serving up your favorite Speedway food & drinks.
You’re more than welcome to bring your own food & drinks into the venue but please remember we have a strict 𝗡𝗢 𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗬 in place.
