Excellent training session at Mahurangi aikido yesterday, with Sensei Damon, and two students from Central Auckland Aikido Club, who came up with Dianne Sensei.
Thanks for the enthusiasm and energy from everyone! Thanks to the ukes especially Sensei Andy, who took ukemi exceptionally well!! His students were impressed with his falls.

Ikkyo is such a powerful defence technique; however it is also one of the most deeply basic roots of so many of the techniques aikido showcases in it development of inner strength and power!
