Hibiscus Highland Dance

Hibiscus Highland Dance Highland dance school for ages 4 & up. Based in Orewa. Boys & girls of any nationality welcome.

At Hibiscus Highland Dance children can focus on competitive highland dance and exam work. Although this is encouraged, importance is placed on the pure enjoyment of dance and musicality. Some of the benefits include:
-increased fitness and physical ability
-enhanced musical appreciation, rhythm and coordination
-chance to make lifelong friends
-development of confidence in front of an audience
-l

earnt routine, dedication and self-motivation

Children work on all of the above by attending weekly lessons-both individual and group classes are available. Competitions are held throughout New Zealand, including the Auckland and Waipu Highland Games, local A & P shows and many indoor competitions throughout the year.
