Let’s take a moment to wish Sam Lane — who will captain the squad — Malachi Buschl and Kane Russell safe travels and the very best for the upcoming FIH Nations Cup in South Africa, running from 11–20 June.

Our boys fly out today with the Vantage Black Sticks, gearing up for their opening clash against Scotland on 13 June at 5:00am.
The remaining pool matches are:

vs Malaysia — 16 June @ 10:15pm
vs Japan — 18 June @ 5:00am

While we’re celebrating our members’ achievements, we can’t overlook a massive milestone — Brett Menezes clocked his 150th Premier cap for HPHC in the Intercity Semi‑Final on 23 May. A huge accomplishment and a testament to Brett’s commitment, and loyalty to the club. Thanks, Brett, for everything you’ve poured into HPHC over the years — what a legend!

DON'T MISS OUT- HPHC Winter School Holiday Coaching Programme
HPHC is hosting a 3-day Winter Coaching Programme this July, led by Clive Daniels (HPHC Premier Men’s Coach) alongside Blacksticks and Premier players.
✅ Open to all players – you don’t need to be an HPHC member or an experienced player to join.
💥 This is a fantastic opportunity for our Youth players to sharpen their skills ahead of the Auckland Hockey U16 trials starting 24 July.

Dates: 14, 15 & 16 July
Venue: Lloyd Elsmore Park – LEP 1
Session Times:
🟢 Juniors (Years 1–8): 9:00am – 10:30am
🟣 Goalkeepers: 9:00am – 10:30am
🔵 Youth: 11:00am – 12:30pm

🏑💙 HPHC WEEKEND HOCKEY IS HERE! 💙🏑

A huge weekend of Senior, Youth, and Premier hockey is coming up, with plenty of action across the club.

Our Premier Men and Premier Women take the turf for their final Round 2 games, and we’re backing them all the way as they push for strong finishes.

Our Senior teams are set for another competitive round, and our Youth teams continue their season with great effort, development, and plenty of HPHC spirit.

A massive thank‑you to all our coaches and managers for the time, commitment, and energy you put in every week. The club runs because of you.
