How to fillet a squid, start to finish. Hood, wings, tentacles, nothing left behind.

For reference, that’s the Bare Bones filleting knife doing the work, and Aaron found out mid-shoot exactly how sharp it is. All good, mate. The Calamari was worth it.

From catch to kai in a few clean cuts.

Scaled, skin left on, and filleted down with the Bare Bones set, filleting knife for processing the frame, sashimi knife for slicing up a fresh feed at the end. Do it once, do it right.
