The AAS development program at Whitford Forrest Archers last Sunday was very interesting, and all participants said it was both fun and a different experience. Looking forward to the 3D targets later on!

What does it take to become an AAS Pro Shooter?

We get asked this question a lot! 😃

While there is no fixed checklist, these are some of the qualities we look for:

🏹 1. A loyal AAS customer
We value people who genuinely support and believe in us.

🥇 2. Consistently placing in the Top 3
We look for archers who regularly perform at a high level in their competition division.

🎯 3. A coach
Coaches hold a special place in our hearts. Without dedicated coaches, there would be no great athletes. We highly value those who help grow the archery community.

🤝 4. Friendly and passionate about promoting archery
Being a Pro Shooter is about more than shooting well. We want ambassadors who are approachable, positive, and enjoy sharing their passion for the sport.

Being a Pro Shooter isn’t just about winning medals - it’s about representing our values and helping archery grow together.

Every year, we review our Pro Shooter team to ensure it continues to represent the values of us. We also welcome new members each year.

This year’s Pro Shooter roster is now full. Thank you to everyone who has shown interest.

** Our new Pro Shooter members will be announced soon, so stay tuned! 👀

If you’d like to join the team in the future, keep working towards your goals. Applications will reopen next year, and we look forward to hearing from you.

We don’t simply look for the best archers, we look for the right ambassadors ✨

Could this person be you? 🫵🏻

Silver Arrows is expanding, and we’re looking for NZ archers with big dreams, strong values and the drive to see just how far they can take their archery.

If you’re already competing in compound and have ambitions to take your performance further, we want to hear from you.

And if you’re a woman with big ambitions but compound isn’t currently your discipline, we want to hear from you too. We’re excited about helping more women discover compound archery and pursue it at the highest level.

You don’t need to be there yet. What matters is the drive, resilience and commitment to do the work to get there — with the support of a high-performance team around you
If you’re 14+ and this sounds like you, come and find out what we’re creating.
