Constructed of heavy gauge steel, galvanized and powder coated for increased protection and durability (referred to as ‘Rust Armor’) coupled with stainless steel hardware. These hoops will provide hours / years of basketball fun for all ages and abilities. Professional styling is beyond compare with standard ½” tempered glass backboards ranging from 54” 60” and regulation competition 72” in size. This tempered glass is the same as found on vehicle windscreens and used in competition leagues like the NBA. The rebound performance off glass is top of the range, far exceeding that of acrylic or polycarbonate backboards. The height adjustment actuator coupled with one or two lift assist spring cartridges, means small children and grown ups can effortlessly adjust the height of the rim between 5’-10’. Note height adjustment is not limited to a series of increments, when you stop turning the actuator handle the unit supports itself at that height. You can simply padlock the actuator handle to a lug on the pole if you don’t want the rim height adjusted. There is a 3’-5’ overhang at the setting of 10’ depending on the unit you own. This allows for play under the backboard, just like the pros! The overhang is measured from the front face of the backboard to the front face of the pole. Backboard lower edge and pole padding is standard with both the ‘Clearview’ and ‘H-Frame’ models. This allows for aggressive play close to the pole and above the rim. Whether you have a 1,2 or 3 car driveway or perhaps a dedicated court / playing area our size range means there is a model suitable for you.
