📢 WE ARE HIRING! JOIN THE SYNERGY TEAM! 📢

Synergy Sports is looking for enthusiastic, part-time After-School Sports Coaches to join our team in Auckland! We deliver inclusive, beginner-friendly sports programmes for tamariki and rangatahi, focusing on building confidence, teamwork, and movement skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

We are currently seeking coaches for:
🏐 Volleyball

🏀 Basketball (including our dedicated Girls Basketball sessions)

🏸 Badminton

What you’ll do:

Lead structured, engaging after-school coaching sessions.

Teach fundamental sports skills and foster positive sportsmanship.

Ensure a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for all participants.

What we’re looking for:

Energetic, reliable individuals who love working with kids.

Basic knowledge of the sport, though a great attitude and willingness to learn are our top priorities!

Must be able to pass a standard police vetting check.

If you want to make a positive impact on youth development in our community, we want to hear from you!

🏀 Yesterday we held our first intra-class basketball competition! A huge thank you to Coach Lou for organising and running the event.

It was fantastic to see players putting their skills into action, showing teamwork, sportsmanship, and plenty of enthusiasm on the court. These friendly competitions are a great way for participants to challenge themselves and celebrate their progress.

This is just the beginning — all of our basketball and volleyball classes will be taking part in intra-class competitions throughout the week. We can't wait to see everyone get involved and have fun! 🏐🏀👏

We were proud to support the “Whiria Te Tangata” Youth Peace Sports Day here at Synergy Sports — a kaupapa all about weaving people together through connection, inclusion, and sport. 💙

It was awesome to see rangatahi from different backgrounds come together, step outside their comfort zones, back each other, and simply enjoy being active together.

That’s the power of sport — creating spaces where young people feel welcomed, supported, and connected without judgement.

Big thanks to the International Peace Youth Group for bringing this meaningful event to life at Synergy Sports.
