🎃 HALLOWEEN BUILD CHALLENGE: PART 2 THIS SUNDAY! 🧱👻

​We had such an awesome time at yesterday’s session! Our young builders kicked off our Halloween challenge with some spooktacular momentum—spooky haunted houses, creepy crawly brick creatures, and epic multi-level monster labs are already underway! 🕷️🕸️

​If your kids started a build yesterday, or if they missed out and want to jump straight into the fun this weekend, this Sunday is the second and final session to get those creations Fright Night ready!

​🗓️ When: This Sunday, October 25th
​⏰ Time: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
​📍 Where: Riverhead Citizens Hall
​🎟️ Entry: Free! Everyone is welcome!

​🏆 FINAL TOUCHES BEFORE RIVERHEAD FRIGHT NIGHT:

​Finish Your Build: This Sunday will be the final session to construct, refine, and put the finishing touches on all Halloween creations.

​Get Ready for Display: All completed builds will be proudly displayed at Riverhead Community Annual Fright Night for the entire community to check out!

​Vote to Win: The community will vote for their favourite designs at Fright Night, and the winning builders will each take home a mini LEGO set! 🎁✨

​Whether your child is adding the final details to their masterpiece, starting a quick new Halloween creation, or just popping in for some open free-building from our main brick collection, we’d love to see you there.

🎉 A QUIET BUT AWESOME BUILD DAY TODAY! 🧱✨

Thank you to the families who dropped in for our Sunday afternoon build! While it was a bit quieter than our record-breaking holiday pop-up, it made for a wonderfully focused, creative, and relaxed atmosphere. It was fantastic to see everyone taking their time on some truly epic builds!

🧱 SCHOOL HOLIDAY LEGO SESSION THIS TUESDAY! 🥳✨

Looking for a fun, screen-free morning for the kids during week two of the school break? Join us for two hours of open-ended building, creative challenges, and LEGO fun at our upcoming holiday pop-up!

📍 EVENT DETAILS:

🗓️ When: Tuesday, October 6th

⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

📍 Where: Riverhead Citizens Hall

🎟️ ENTRY & CASH PAYMENT:
As this is a special pop-up session outside of our regular club schedule, there is a small fee to cover our hall hireage costs:

$2 per builder OR

$5 per family (whānau rate)

⚠️ Please bring cash on the day to pay at the door, as we don't have electronic payment facilities available at the hall.

📋 NEW QUARTER REGISTRATION (EVERYONE MUST REGISTER!):
It’s a brand-new quarter, so we are updating our records and gathering fresh information for funding and safety requirements.

Even if you have registered for previous sessions, EVERY family must complete the new registration form before attending:

Setting up and packing down hundreds of bricks, mats, and tables is a big job! We are looking for 1 helper family to assist us with:

Setup: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM (30 mins before we start)

Pack-Down: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM

🎁 In return, your family gets FREE ENTRY to the session!

Come down to the Community Arts, Crafts & Hobby Groups Expo at Country Club Huapai between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM! The Riverhead Community LEGO Club will have a table set up with heaps of bricks for hands-on play and display. It's FREE admission, so pop in, say hi, and build a creation with us!

​🗓️ 2. REGULAR LEGO CLUB THIS SUNDAY!
We are back at the Riverhead Citizens Hall this Sunday, September 27th for our usual club session!
