Located in Morningside, Auckland, we teach all ages and all levels of jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary & ballet. The Dance Studio team is composed of some of New Zealand's most experienced teachers/ choreographers as well as a group of talented and committed young dance professionals.

Next up in our April Holiday Workshop series — Contemporary (see timetable above).

These workshops are designed for dancers of different ages and levels, for those who want to explore movement, expression, and technique through contemporary dance.

Dancers will be introduced to foundational contemporary techniques, including release and contraction, while developing control, fluidity, and musicality.

Working both individually and in groups, students will explore intention, dynamics, and performance quality, learning how to move with clarity, confidence, and expression.

This is a great opportunity for dancers to expand their versatility and deepen their understanding of movement across styles.

Next up in our April Holiday Workshop series — Creative Choreography on Wednesday 15th (see timetable above).

This workshop is designed for dancers aged 7–12 who love to create, explore, and think beyond just learning steps.

Working both individually and collaboratively, students will build confidence in their creativity, learn how to make and structure movement, and explore how ideas can be turned into dance.

This is a great opportunity for dancers to step into a more creative role not just as performers, but as young choreographers.

Dancers from all styles and levels welcome!

BOYZDANCE🕺

The next edition to our April Holiday Workshop series is our BOYZDANCE sessions happening across Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th (see timetable above).

💙BoyzDance has been encouraging boys in dance since 1998 and tutors are themselves graduates of this programme💙

Across both days, the BoyzDance workshop focused on fundamentals of Hip Hop and Street Dance, Rhythm and Body percussion and Creative choreography for boys.

This workshop is designed to provide boys with an opportunity to dance and learn alongside other boys, taught by our experienced Boyz dance alumni Richie and Harry.

HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS ARE HERE 💜

ACRO 🤸‍♀️

We’re kicking off our April Holiday Workshop series by introducing our ACRO sessions across Thursday 16th and Friday 17th (see timetable above).

💜 All proceeds from our ACRO workshops will go towards fundraising for new acro equipment for our TDS dancers, supporting the continued growth of our programme and creating more opportunities for all students!!! 💜

Across both days, we’re offering a range of classes designed for different ages and levels, supporting dancers as they build strength, control, flexibility, and confidence. From foundational skills such as cartwheels and balances, through to walkovers, aerials, and more advanced progressions, each session is structured to meet dancers where they’re at while safely extending their capabilities.
