Northcote Netball Club has been participating in the Netball North Harbour competition for over 30 years and in 2013 we became affiliated with Glenfield Sports Club. Northcote Netball Club has a combination of Training and Social/non-training teams allowing players to play both competitive and social netb
all. Northcote Netball Club does its best to accommodate all players of all abilities in our teams. Our club has a strong passion for supporting players to reach their individual and team potentials through our coaches and club peers. Northcote netball Club has a great sense of unity, support & we have a serious love of netball! At the end of the NNH Netball season, our 18yrs + club members are invited to attend the Kurangaituku Netball Tournament in Rotorua. This is an awesome way to wrap up our netball season & it is a very special tournament that we are very grateful to be a part of! There will be more information to come out about this during the season. We welcome everyone from Year 11 upwards to trial for NNC Training teams with trainings being held on Tuesday nights. In 2023 we had 6 x Training teams.
4 x Senior training teams (18yrs +) & 2 x Development teams (Year 11 - 18yrs of age). Our training teams played in grades from Premier 2/3 through to Senior 7. In 2023 we had 6 x Senior Social teams (18yrs+) who played in grades from Senior 1 to Senior 7. If you are a new Social player to NNC (i.e. non-training, Saturday play only), we will do our best to accommodate you in one of our Social teams and will be in contact by early February to advise of availability. Please note new spaces in our Social teams are limited each season and therefore we do encourage you to join one of our training teams for the season instead. We welcome all new players to make contact to discuss what your needs are so that you can be best matched whether trialing for a training team or wishing to join a social/non-training team. Please email us at [email protected]
We support and offer opportunities for those wishing to develop skills such as umpiring and coaching by providing access to external courses and/or tools/programmes for developing these skills. If you would like to join our club as a Coach or Umpire, please email us at [email protected]
