In 2024, in New Zealand, the average hourly rate for a babysitter is around $25, and a Pilates class costs about $28. This makes it challenging for mums to look after themselves while taking care of their families.

There’s no shame in wanting to feel good about yourself, and having a baby adds extra reasons to prioritize self-care. From pelvic floor issues to back pain, blood circulation problems, and hormone regulation—these are all valid concerns!

That’s why we’ve teamed up with as our main sponsor. They help us cover some costs and provide products to ensure you feel seen and supported within our community. Our goal is to keep costs as low as possible and create a space where you feel comfortable bringing your baby (or not).

6 more days til our first class and we are thrilled to meet you and your mini you ♥️♥️

The first class will be on Monday 6th at Ponsonby school of dance 5 Lincoln street !

Tracey is one of the most well known dance teacher in Auckland. My own children started their first class with her 10 years ago and she has now grown into a big school and is letting us use the space for our class too ! We can’t wait to see you there !

It feels really special to have held our final class in celebration of Mother’s Day 💗 We acknowledged all the wom*n in our lives & connected through movement & shared stories of motherhood, friendships, love & inspiration ✨🥰

We feel so grateful for this community and the support you have shown us while running MAT. It has been a journey filled with lessons, connections & celebrations. Thank you immensely.

Kia ora to our MAT community 💗

It comes with great sadness to announce that our online and in-person classes will be coming to an end in May.

We have loved growing this community and connecting with all of you over the past couple of years. Unfortunately due to funding and financial difficulties, we do not have the resources to continue.

We are beyond grateful for your support and appreciate you coming along this journey with us 🥰

Our final in-person class will be in celebration of Mother’s Day and will be held on Thursday the 11th May at 10 am at St. Columba Community Centre in Grey Lynn.

We have this space for longer than usual so that we can connect after class for some drinks from the lovely people at and ☕️ will also be giving away a spot prize!

We would like to extend this invite to everyone who has connected with us before to move together for a final time - so whether you are expecting, have recently had a baby or not, we would love to see you there 💌

We will have limited spaces available so please make sure you book via the link in our bio!

Some good news… we will be moving our online classes to our YouTube channel so that you can continue to restore and rebuild your connection with your body through your postpartum journey 🧘‍♀️✨
