More than a workout.

Many people come to our centres for fitness, but stay because of the people.
The instructor who remembers your name. The lane-swimmer you see every week. The friends you've made through exercise.
Because sometimes the best part of being active is the community around you.

The little things matter.

A smile at reception. A chat between sets. A friendly wave across the pool.
Small moments of connection can brighten someone's day and help create a stronger sense of belonging.
What small act of kindness have you experienced at your centre recently?

Belonging starts with showing up.

A sense of belonging doesn't have to start with knowing everyone in the room.
Sometimes it starts with turning up for your swim, your workout, or your favourite class and seeing familiar faces.
Every visit is an opportunity to connect, feel welcomed, and be part of something bigger.
πŸ’™ This Mental Health Awareness Week, we're celebrating the power of belonging.

We belong together.
Mental Health Awareness Week is nearly here, and this year's theme is simple but powerful:
πŸ’™ Belonging Matters.

Research shows that feeling connected to others is important for our wellbeing. That's why the communities we build around us matter so much. Our pool and leisure centres are filled with people from all walks of life, connected by shared goals, shared experiences, and a shared sense of community.

Whether you've been a member for years or are thinking about visiting for the first time, know that there's a place for you here. Because wellbeing grows when people feel they belong.

More than a workout. A community πŸ’™

πŸ€ SOUTHSIDE SLAM TERM 3 2026 πŸ€

Another successful competition, where our South centres brought our basketball clubs together for a fun filled afternoon of 3x3 basketball to wrap up Term 3.

Our children showed up this round & showcased what they have learnt this term - from making good passes, taking open shots to playing some good defence & stopping the offensive attack!

We had some standout performances throughout the night with awards going to the following participants:

PASSER - Isabelle Gwynne
HUSTLER - Arlo Pearson-Hoani
SPARKY - Enaias Tangi
RESPECT - Mason Matthew
FEARLESS - Matiu Riki

Thank you to all parents for taking the time out of your day to bring your child/ren to our Southside Slam competition.

Lastly, a massive thank you to our staff that put in the work behind the scenes to train the kids, plan for these competitions & showing up on the day - we appreciate you team 🫢🏽

Stay tuned for the next event, we hope to see you there πŸ™ŒπŸ½
