Newly Appointed executive committee of 2026.

President - Christopher Sime, of Tongan heritage, currently working as a Health and Physical Education teacher at a South Auckland secondary school.

Treasurer - Mary Brown, of Samoan and Fijian heritage, with strong knowledge and skills in the education sector. Mary is currently a Principal at a Junior school in Central Auckland.

Secretary - Linda Sime, of Samoan heritage, currently working as a Deputy Principal at a South Auckland secondary school.

As the season kicks off, there is a real sense of momentum and excitement. With dedicated swimmers, supportive families, passionate coaches and a forward-thinking committee, 2026 is shaping up to be a standout year. Whether you are looking to dive into swimming with basic knowledge or take your skills to the next level, Papatoetoe Swimming Club welcomes you to be part of the journey.

Last month some of our junior and intermediate swimmers went down to the mighty Waikato to represent our club at the Swimming Waikato Junior Championships 2023. Many PB's were smashed!, medals achieved and ribbons gained. Overall a very exciting and rewarding weekend for our swimmers. Thank you to our swimmers parents and families that got them down there and thank you to Coach Michael for coaching our swimmers to do their best!🏊🏊‍♀️

Congratulations to our club members who swam for their schools last week and did well to qualify to represent the Cental Zone and Eastern zone swimming champs, at the Auckland Interzone swimming champs today. They did well to come in the top 8 and top 10 of their respective events today against the best of the best year 7 and 8 school competing swimmers from all over Auckland.

They did their schools and our club proud. Thank you to their coaches and their families who push them to achieve.
