Waitapu Farms One hour north of Auckland lies Waitapu Farms, a 700ha coastal dairy farm nestled between the townships of Wellsford and Warkworth.

The beautiful beaches of Pakiri, Te Arai and Mangawhai are all nearby as are the vineyards and restaurants of Matakana. Waitapu Farms supplies Fonterra; the supply numbers are 15419 and 15429. Waitapu Farms is a 700ha dairy platform currently producing 420,000 kgMS. 850 Friesian-cross dairy cows are milked out of two 36as herringbone sheds, one of which is near new. The platform currently support

s an additional 250 replacement heifers and 200 weaners. Stock are wintered on a 175ha adjoining runoff and there is a new 190 calf rearing facility with good support buildings. Staff accommodation is excellent and Waitapu Farms offers full staff support and training.
